The Importance Of Eco Friendly Products

The Importance Of Eco-Friendly Products

Our belief is, that if you use eco-friendly green cleaning products, that’s an awesome way to healthy living. If you do not use them and you’re waiting to use them, then whatever you have is better than not using anything at all. We are not a fan of toxic chemicals however we always tell our green customers on the first clean that is not going to be so green the first time. After that there’s no problem, we clean with eco-friendly green cleaning products.

Bad Habits

The last thing we want to hear is that people every day get up on their soapboxes and they’re like, “Well, my product is toxic friendly, green cleaning, eco-friendly, this, that and the other”, and these same people go out and they eat fried foods and they drink toxic chemical drinks that if you pour it on the outside of your vehicle car, it would eat the paint away and yet they fill their bodies with these things. It’s kind of disingenuous when somebody talks about green cleaning products, yet there are so many other chemicals that are associated with our lives that, you can control them or you can’t. You can always do the best that you can.

Our Philosophy

So our beliefs and it’s our philosophy. We’re not forcing you to believe it. But our opinion is, you only get one body in this lifetime. This isn’t like a car. If you don’t get it, take it in three years and trade it in for a better model. Whatever you got going on right here, right now. That’s it. Until you get old and then you die. It’s your responsibility to take care of yourself, which means, yeah, as clean a friendly product as you possibly can. If it prevents you from inhaling something that’s going to make your head spin, certainly choose something of the healthiest nature. When it comes to eating, choose the healthiest thing that’s available to you. We aren’t saying only eat organic foods but if organic is an option where you live, then eat organic foods. Don’t starve yourself because organically is not available, and that same rule applies to cleaning. Don’t clean because you don’t have a spray bottle of an eco-friendly green product or vinegar water mixed up. Anything that you’re going to use is better than nothing at all. It’s like eating the food. Whatever you’re going to eat, it’s probably better than nothing at all and starving yourself. But eat the healthiest choices you have available to you. When it comes to cleaning, clean with the cleanest products that you have available to you.

Exceptions

There are a couple of really toxic chemicals that we use for some toxic environments. Sometimes, you walk into a house and your head spins at the things that you see. We’re not pointing any fingers. We’re not judging. But when we walk in, “Okay, you know what, our green cleaning product is not going to clean that”. It’s not going to sanitize it. This needs something really strong. And then, we’re going for some pretty heavy-duty chemicals. Our philosophy is, hey, it may not be eco-friendly but neither is whatever this is that we’re looking at that’s in such a state of mold and bacteria. It depends on your personal preference. What it comes down to is what are you going to use. Now, for us, our main go-to green products are Simple Green and Green Works, and we have a couple of other products on the fringe that like in a scenario may be a yucky mucked-up bathtub or something.

Homemade Solution

However, you can make your own go-to eco-friendly vinegar water solution. It’s 50% vinegar and 50% water and you can add two drops of dishwashing soap to it. You can pour it into a clear plastic jug and keep one of those under every bathroom sink in your house. For instance, if you just brushed your teeth and there’s toothpaste and there’s mouthwash or shaving gel or whatever that’s on the vanity. You can just spray it and you can wipe it off and you just cleaned up after yourself and now it’s done. You can always hire a professional cleaning service, housemaid, or housekeeper because they will bring their cleaning supplies and they will sanitize your house.

Cleaning Maintenance

But between those cleanings, you’re going to need some regular maintenance. You’re going to need regular maintenance on all of your kitchen cupboards. If you have cutting boards, those need to be washed regularly. Wherever you use your food prep, whether it’s on your counter or it’s near your kitchen sink, that area needs to be sanitized after every single use. This is not something that you save and wait for your housekeeper when she comes back 14 days from now. Clean up after yourself every time. When you prepare your vegetables and you use your kitchen sink, that needs to be scoured out every time. One of those little blue sponges that’s a no-scratch scrub sponge, with a couple of drops of dish soap on it, you can scour out the entire part of your sink and sanitize and just keep it clean. It’s so easy to do and some of it should just be on your regular maintenance list.
When you brush your teeth at night and your mouthwash and your toothpaste go into your sink, that builds up residue and it gets stuck unless you just rinse it out. We recommend having a little dish soap with a little no-scratch scrub sponge on each of those at every sink of your house. And you have the little hand soap that you just keep a little thing of dishwashing soap in every single one of those bathrooms. When you’re done, you can just clean out the kitchen sink, you just put a drop of regular dish soap on a little non-scratch scrub sponge and just clean out the basin after you’re done. It’s so easy.

Healthy Choice

Our belief is, to choose the healthiest thing that you possibly can. Because your body will take a toll. Whether it’s in allergies, whether it’s your eyes itch and burn, you want to make sure that you keep as much of that stuff away from your body as possible and so. If you can live in a really clean, toxic-free environment and you can use toxic-free, green cleaning eco-friendly products, by all means, choose the best that is available to you. If it means taking some time and going on the internet and doing a little bit of research and learning about different recipes that clean different things and then, buying your cleaning bottles and labeling those and making your solutions and putting them underneath the sinks of your house, maybe it takes an afternoon for you to do that. But then you will have that available to you to go ahead and maintain your home between your house cleaner’s cleanings. That’s what we believe in. Make the best choice available to you under all circumstances, and then, do it a little yourself. Don’t berate yourself, and don’t feel bad if you have to use an over-the-counter product. Sometimes, you just do it because the mess demands it. Feel free to contact car service in San Diego and a florist in San Diego for your needs.
